Hey there! My name is Chef Shelby Henderson, but I am worldly known as Chef Shelbs. I started my career as a chef in July 2011, but my love for cooking all started when I was just a little girl. I received my motivation from a lineage of chefs and bakers. Cooking is truly a passion of mine, but there’s nothing more satisfying than presenting a different approach to common ingredients.
I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Memphis, TN. I am a proud alumnus of St. Edward’s University, where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Entrepreneurship. In December 2013, I received my Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Liberty University. In August of 2014, I was blessed with an opportunity to move to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to enhance my culinary skills and to learn other cultures . My experience in Australia refurbished my love for nutrition that led receiving my Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
